Megson delights in Atletico shock

Wanderers held Atletico to a goalless draw in the Spanish capital to progress through 1-0 on aggregate following their narrow victory at the Reebok Stadium last week.
"There is a lot of satisfaction in getting through against a team like Atletico Madrid, playing against some of the best players in Europe," said Megson, whose side will face Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in the last 16.
He added: "Everyone was expecting Atletico to go through so it's a great testament to a really good bunch of people.
"I said to the players before the game that we mustn't throw away the good work we've done."
Megson insisted it was not his plan to have his side defend for most of the contest, but that is just how the game developed.
"We didn't set out purposely to defend, we got pushed back by a very good team," he added.
"We had the one-goal lead but we sat far too deep. But in the second half we did much better, I've never once had to criticise the players for a lack of effort."
