Megson is top manager

Bolton manager Gary Megson has been named Barclays manager of the month for November.

Megson guided his side to 12 points from a possible 15 in the Premier League last month, with three wins from three matches away from home. The Trotters began the month in the relegation zone but finished ninth after an impressive spell.

Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka - who left Bolton to join the Blues nearly a year ago - has won the player-of-the-month award, having scored seven goals in five league games.
