Mixed feelings for Robson

The 2-0 derby defeat to Sheffield Wednesday nine days ago had left many fans calling for Robson to go, yet his players produced a performance against City to make him proud and leave him bewildered by his side's inconsistency.
"What a difference eight days makes, and that's the frustrating part because that was a good performance from the players, and we know we can perform like that," said Robson.
"But sometimes you need breaks, and I don't think we've been getting them in some of the league games, where in this game we got a couple - although we deserved the win.
"The lads have done the job, and that's what you are after. You want good performances and victories, and that breeds confidence and the players believe in themselves.
"The difference in the performance from this game to the one with Wednesday is that at certain stages of a game when you are playing well, you have to score goals.
"We dominated Sheffield Wednesday in the first 20 minutes of the second half, but we didn't score, while in this game we got our goals."
