Moores fears go-steady Freddie

England coach Peter Moores hopes Andrew Flintoff does not have to compromise his all-action style to prolong his international career.

Lancashire all-rounder Flintoff, 29, will test his injured left ankle in the Brit Oval nets ahead of Wednesday's penultimate match in the NatWest Series with India.

"It is his style of cricket that makes him Andrew Flintoff," said Moores. "It will be very difficult for him to change his style because of his competitive nature, and hopefully with what is happening with the ankle he won't need to."
