Mourinho no doubts over Pizarro class

The 28-year-old, who has joined on a free transfer following eight seasons at the top level in Germany, netted only eight Bundesliga goals during the 2006-07 campaign having never previously missed out on double figures.
But Mourinho said: "I don't judge a player just on his last year. We played against him in my first season at this club and I know the qualities he has."
He added: "This will be my fourth season at Chelsea and I know the way people usually judge strikers - by statistics. But I do it in a different way.
"Last season people were talking about Didier Drogba because of the goals he scored but in his first year he did not score so many yet he had a very good season for us.
"Of course Pizarro is a striker and he will score goals but I am not waiting for him to come here and in his first season score 30 goals.
"I want him to do his work for the team and score a few goals - especially important ones - as for me the team is the most important thing."
Drogba is all but certain to be a regular starter, at least until the start of the African Nations Cup, which means Pizarro could be going head to head with Andriy Shevchenko for the other striking berth.
Mourinho said: "We thought last season we needed an extra striker and not just because we play so many matches during the season but also because we needed someone with different qualities to those we already have.
"And also because this season we will play with two pure strikers so we need him. The question of him being a free transfer made it an easy deal but even if he hadn't been he was always a player we were interested in."
