Murray fit for doubles rubber

Andy Murray boosted Great Britain's hopes of avoiding relegation to Davis Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group II by declaring himself fit for today's doubles rubber against Poland.

The British number one is struggling with a left wrist injury and admitted after yesterday's singles victory he was unsure whether he would be able to partner Ross Hutchins today.

Victory is by no means assured against experienced Polish pair Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski, who are ranked just outside the top 10 in the world.

The winners of today's match will take a 2-1 lead into tomorrow's reverse singles.
