Murray sees the positives

Newly-crowned Nottingham Open doubles champion Jamie Murray believes the success of brother Andy has "benefited" his own career.

Jamie made headlines of his own on Saturday, claiming his fourth title of the season alongside American partner Eric Butorac. The pair fought back from a set down to defeat British duo Joshua Goodall and Ross Hutchins , following up victories in Memphis, San Jose and Dallas in 2007.

And, when asked if being the brother of the British number one had added to expectations over his own performances, he replied: "I don't know about the expectation. It obviously helps I'm Andy's brother to get more recognition which we are obviously benefiting from."

He added: "There's a lot more interest in us. When we played in a grand slam and lost in the first round there were 20 people at the press conference just for a doubles match.

"We certainly get a lot more recognition and publicity just for a couple of doubles guys who are not even ranked that high."
