Nakajima named Williams number two

Williams have named Kazuki Nakajima as their second driver for next season.

The Japanese 22-year-old, son of former Formula One driver Saturo Nakajima, was the team's test driver this year and made his F1 debut at the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix.

He finished the race in 10th, enough to impress his bosses and land a seat alongside number one driver Nico Rosberg.

"This is the crowning of a great year for me," Nakajima, who was Rookie of the Year in the GP2, said on autosport.com.

A space in the team opened up following Alexander Wurz's retirement from the sport.
