New contract for Park

The midfielder's agent did claim a deal with the South Korean had been done during the week. Now United have officially confirmed the news that they will keep the 28-year-old, who arrived at Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven for £2million in 2005.
"I am so pleased to have a new contract," said Park. "We have achieved great success over the last four years and won many trophies."
There was a large degree of scepticism surrounding Park when he first came to United.
Yet, while the commercial spin-offs of having Asia's highest-profile player in their squad have been obvious in two highly profitable visits to the continent, both of which took United to Seoul, Park has also proved his worth on the field.
Devastated to be left out of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad for the Champions League final victory over Chelsea in 2008, Park was included in May, when the Red Devils lost to Barcelona, in addition to being an integral figure in United's hat-trick of Premier League title triumphs.
"It is a great experience for me to play at this magnificent football club along with other world famous players," he said.
"I am really enjoying my time here and I appreciate all that Sir Alex and the staff have done for me. But I also have to mention the fans too. They are incredible."
Ferguson added his own tribute to a player who has made 127 United appearances, scoring 12 goals.
"We are always pleased to secure the future of our star players and Ji-Sung has proved himself to be a fantastic professional as well as an important versatile player in our squad," he said.
