N'Guemo set for Celtic loan
11 January 2009
He will join former team-mate Marc-Antoine Fortune at Parkhead next season, after the striker became Tony Mowbray's first signing as Hoops boss earlier this week.
"I will be flying to Scotland on Monday to finalise the move to Celtic," N'Guemo said. "There are no other clubs involved, I'm going to Celtic and it's a good move for me."
He added: "They are a big club and it will be great to play in the same team as Marc-Antoine Fortune again.
"I'm really looking forward to starting my time at Celtic."
Meanwhile, Mowbray is hoping to convince Gary Caldwell to remain in the east end of Glasgow.
Caldwell, who played under Mowbray at Hibernian, is out of contract next summer and has yet to agree a new deal.
"Nothing has stalled," said the Celtic boss. "I've already had a conversation with Gary and I'll try to pick up the reigns on that.
"It's not something I've gone into in depth yet with chief executive Peter Lawwell.
"But I would like to think that I've got a very strong relationship with Gary Caldwell."
