No chances with King

Capello sprang a major surprise on Sunday when he included King in his 24-man squad to tackle Slovakia and the Ukraine, even though the defender's long-standing knee problem means he cannot train.
And, after the 28-year-old joined up with Capello's squad on Monday afternoon, a spokesman for the Football Association said: "The England management have spoken to Tottenham Hotspur FC and explained that they will take no risks at all with Ledley King."
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is not thought to have been too impressed at the prospect of losing his club captain, whose previous cartilage operations mean his right knee swells up markedly after any form of strenuous exercise.
Yet the injury has not prevented King from turning in a series of impressive performances in the White Hart Lane outfit's recent surge up the table, culminating in an outstanding display in the win over Chelsea on Saturday.
"They fully understand the player's injury situation but they wanted to have a close look at him in the team environment as Ledley has not previously been part of a Fabio Capello squad," the spokesman continued.
"He will be monitored during the week by the England and Tottenham Hotspur medical staff before any decision on training or playing is made."
After missing out on selection for the 2006 World Cup due to Sven-Goran Eriksson's fitness concerns, King has not played for England since the Euro 2008 qualifier in Estonia almost two years ago.
He was included in Capello's first squad - ahead of the friendly win over Switzerland in February 2008 - but was forced to pull out due to injury.
FA staff reported no further injury concerns, with Wayne Rooney free of the worry of an additional suspension following his dismissal at Fulham on Saturday as Soho Square chiefs confirmed they will take no action over the bad-tempered manner in which he left the field.
