Old Firm duo face repercussions

The defenders squared up at the final whistle as Celtic celebrated a 2-1 win over Rangers after which both were summoned to referee Kenny Clark's office and are set to be reported to the SFA.
Of the mass melee and whether there was further trouble in the tunnel afterwards, Celtic manager Gordon Strachan told BBC Radio Scotland: "I've not got a clue what happened. For me to comment on something I don't know anything about, would be like me talking about politics. I never saw anything there."
Asked where this result leaves the title race, Rangers boss Walter Smith said: "My feelings are the same as they were before the game.
"Obviously we wanted to do well and we thought at the end of the game we were going to get a result that would have helped in terms of the championship but nobody at Rangers expected to go through this without have to overcome a bit of disappointment, especially with the number of matches that we have."
Celtic's defeat at Ibrox last month left Strachan under intense pressure and Smith, speaking to the assembled press afterwards, added dryly: "After rounding on a manager and telling him his job was under threat and that the league championship was over, now you are saying the league is under threat (for Rangers).
"You are going to have to make up your mind which is right - whether the league championship is ours or not. We'll happily take it now without having to play any more games.
"I knew this would happen, it's been going since the last Old Firm game when you were telling everybody the league championship was over and the Celtic manager should get the sack. Then one win changes it.
"Nobody likes getting beat and my team has showed that over the season. They will just have to pick themselves up from this one and get on with it.
"But it wasn't anyone from Rangers who thought that we would stroll to the league championship."
