O'Leary rejects Ireland role

Under-21 boss Don Givens and former England coach Don Howe have been charged with recruiting Steve Staunton's replacement after the former international's reign ended following the disappointing Euro 2008 qualifying campaign.
O'Leary told Sky Sports News: "After much soul-searching and thought I've declined the offer from the Football Association of Ireland to be interviewed for the vacant post of international team manager.
He added: "It's a great honour and I'm very flattered to be considered.
"However, at this point in my career I wish to return to full-time club management and therefore reluctantly have decided against the opportunity to manage my country at this point."
Various names have been linked with the post including Lawrie Sanchez, former midfielder Liam Brady, Terry Venables, Graeme Souness and Mick McCarthy.
But O'Leary, like Paul Jewell before him, has seemingly ruled himself out in a bid to return to management with a club.
