Oram double strike checks Bangladesh

The medium-pace all-rounder and wicketkeeper struck twice in the space of as many overs to compromise Bangladesh progress on the way to 89 for two at the half-way point of their innings at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Openers Javed Omar and Tamim Iqbal made an encouraging stand of 55 until Tamim was stumped for 29 and Oram doubled up with the wicket of Omar for 22, attempting to cut a ball which was a little too close and edging behind when the seamer got his trademark extra bounce.
The breakthroughs were needed, however, by a Kiwi attack missing - temporarily at least - frontline 10-over bowlers Michael Mason and James Franklin, who had both limped off mid-spell for treatment.
Bangladesh, put in on a sunny morning, were in reasonable shape to take advantage as Saqibul Hasan and Aftab Ahmed tried to rebuild following the openers' departures.
