Osaka roles open for Benjamin and Lyne

The pair, who have been unable to reproduce their top form this summer because of injury, were not named for their respective 400metres or 800m individual events when the team for Osaka was named on Tuesday morning.
But the selectors have left one slot open in each event and will review the form of both athletes at the Norwich Union London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace on Friday evening before the second and final wave is announced next Tuesday.
Benjamin, who reached the world final in Helsinki two years ago, has already been included in the 4x400m relay squad for the championships in Japan at the end of next month.
Now, after missing last weekend's trial race in Manchester with a foot injury, a good showing could see him claim the last spot alongside Martyn Rooney and Andrew Steele.
"I am only one of a number of selectors and we have the opportunity to see what he produces there," said UK Athletics performance director Dave Collins.
At the trials in Manchester, Lyne raced over 1500m and finished fifth. Last summer's European bronze medallist has been troubled by a calf injury all year, but is determined to prove her fitness for Osaka.
She now has the opportunity to earn her place by beating Jenny Meadows, who was third in the trial behind Jemma Simpson and Marilyn Okoro, at the south-east London venue on Friday.
UKA have named 49 athletes in the first wave of selections and when the second is released next Tuesday, Christine Ohuruogu could figure in the 400m.
The Commonwealth champion's 12-month drug suspension for missing three out-of-competition tests expires next Monday and she could become a candidate for the trip to Japan.
