O'Shea still relishing United challenge

Now approaching 300 appearances for the Old Trafford outfit, O'Shea remains as bonded to the club as ever.
"You could say a game here is worth two elsewhere but it is more than that," he said. "I want to challenge myself, both in matches and in training every day and I want to improve my game. That is why I am here. As long as the manager keeps me as part of the team that will do for me."
Despite a week of rumours about Dimitar Berbatov's impending arrival, a £25million transfer has still to be completed.
Clearly Ferguson feels another forward is essential to United's hopes of retaining their hard-won silverware.
Wayne Rooney is unlikely to start as United begin their Premier League title defence against Newcastle on Sunday, so Ryan Giggs will probably partner Carlos Tevez as he did in the Community Shield triumph over Portsmouth last weekend.
Ferguson will have to make at least one change to his Wembley line-up though as Nani is suspended.
Michael Carrick is expected to be included, although the United boss may ask Patrice Evra to fill the wider role, while Ferguson faces a major decision at right-back as he decides between Gary Neville and Wes Brown, who did so well last term when the United skipper was out injured.
Even though a 10th Premier League title and a second Champions League success of the Ferguson era was achieved last spring, the demand for more remains.
"At this club all you have to do is look across at Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes and see the way they train," said O'Shea. "It is such an example they set. Despite the success they have had and the rewards they have received, they still want more and more."
