Pay lands Dragons post

Former Australia Test forward Dean Pay has been appointed as assistant to new Catalans Dragons head coach Kevin Walters from next season.

The former Canterbury Bulldogs and Parramatta prop will replace Andrew McFadden, who will return home to Australia at the end of the season, and will arrive in Perpignan in November to take up a two-year deal.

"I am looking forward to working with Kevin Walters and the staff," said Pay, who has been assistant to current Australia coach Ricky Stuart at Sydney Roosters.

"I am very excited with the playing roster we have and am looking forward to a very successful season."
