Podolski reveals Spurs interest

The 23-year-old, who has been operating at left midfield for his country at Euro 2008, has spoken of a move to Spurs or Italian side Juventus, who he says are also monitoring his situation, after a frustrating season in the Bundesliga.
"I have been informed about both clubs' interest," Podolski told Polish newspaper Express. "That is very interesting for me."
Spurs have signed Luka Modric and Giovani dos Santos so far this summer to bolster their midfield, and Podolski would offer another option there or up front.
Spurs head coach Juande Ramos is also looking for a goalkeeper and a new centre-back is expected to arrive at White Hart Lane before the start of the Barclays Premier League campaign.
However, Ramos expected to allow Anthony Gardner to leave, with promoted Hull among the clubs interested in taking the central defender.
Spurs have confirmed a pre-season friendly with Roma on August 10, the week before their competitive programme gets under way.
Ramos said: "Roma are a good team who will be playing in the Champions League this coming season and so will provide us with a stern test.
"We will try our best to ensure the team put on a good match for the supporters.
"We want to complete our preparation on a high in order to begin the Premier League season in the best way possible."
