Prica seals Rosenborg move

Sunderland striker Rade Prica has completed a move to Norwegian side Rosenborg for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old Sweden international was allowed to travel to Scandinavia to hold talks and has clinched a move in time for this weekend's season opener against Valerenga.

Prica made only six appearances for the Black Cats, all of them as a substitute, after completing a £2million switch from Aalborg in January last year.

He announced his arrival in style with a debut goal against Birmingham but struggled to establish himself under former boss Roy Keane or his successor Ricky Sbragia.

Indeed, Prica has not made a single appearance for the Wearsiders this season.
