Rain restricts Henman

28 January 2007
Just six minutes of play were possible before Henman and Spain's Feliciano Lopez were sent back into the locker room and the covers were brought on.
Henman was swiftly into the same confident service action which had proved so effective against first-round opponent Carlos Moya, winning the first game to love and relishing the Centre Court atmosphere.
He then had a break point as Lopez played a shaky first service game of his own, but could not convert.
The rains then arrived with the score at 1-1 and 15-15 on Henman's serve in the first set.
And while spectators sat around hopefully, entertaining themselves with Mexican Waves and occasionally slow-handclapping as brief glimpses of sunlight brightened Centre Court, the forecast was always gloomy.
Play was eventually called off late in the evening and Henman will resume his bid to make the third round for the first time in three years on Thursday afternoon when the forecast is much brighter.
