Redknapp backs Lennon for England recall

Capello was at White Hart Lane last night to watch Lennon score twice in the 4-0 Barclays Premier League win over Middlesbrough, three days after watching him test Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra during the Carling Cup final.
Lennon, 21, has not played for his country in nearly two years but Spurs boss Redknapp said: "He must have a good chance of getting in the next squad if he plays like he is in the moment. The little fella is flying at the moment."
Lennon helped ensure there was no hangover from the Wembley defeat to United, with Robbie Keane scoring his first goal since returning from Liverpool and Roman Pavlyuchenko also on the scoresheet.
Luka Modric was also praised by Redknapp but it was Lennon's return to form that has caught the eye.
"Aaron is in fantastic form and you felt something would happen every time he got the ball," Redknapp said.
"He's learning the game, he's only a kid. He's got all the equipment. I can see him taking things in, he needs people to work with him and work on his game - and he is responding.
"His final ball is still the thing he needs to improve on but it's certainly getting better.
"He was tired on Sunday but his little legs were still going."
