Spurs have not won at Chelsea's home since 1990 but there is a fearless attitude at White Hart Lane after starting the season with four Barclays Premier League wins in a row before last week's defeat to Manchester United.

Redknapp said: "You get different players. If you ask Wilson Palacios about Tottenham's record with Chelsea he wouldn't have a clue, would he? Sebastien Bassong wouldn't have a clue. I don't think it'll be a case of 'we can't beat Chelsea'. We'll go there and it's another game, a game against a top, top team."

Redknapp has backed Ledley King to deal with the threat of Didier Drogba, who was banned for the Champions League in midweek but will be back on Sunday.

"When he's playing as he is, he really is an unbelievable powerful striker," Redknapp said.

"He's very instrumental in what they have achieved. Under Jose Mourinho he was that frontman who was so difficult to stop.

"But Ledley's in great form, Ledley's strong and quick as well so it'll be two powerful players against each other. So I'm sure he'll know he's in a game."

While Redknapp has four strikers to choose from - Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane, Peter Crouch and Roman Pavlyuchenko - Chelsea only have Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka, and they also have a transfer ban for two windows.

"We've got four top strikers and they've probably got two - with injuries they would struggle," the Spurs boss added.
