Redknapp rant inspires Spurs comeback

Spurs were trailing to Martin Paterson's opener at White Hart Lane but after Redknapp's rant they scored through Michael Dawson, Jamie O'Hara, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Michael Duff's own goal to take a 4-1 lead to the second leg of the semi-final.
"The first-half performance wasn't good enough, we went in at half-time and he told us," Dawson told Sky Sports. "We had to respond and we did that."
Dawson added: "Credit to the lads, it was disappointing in the first half but great in the second. It sets us up for the second leg."
Redknapp has turned Spurs' season around since taking charge two months ago - and he admitted it was the first time he lost his temper with his players.
"I did get into them at half-time," he said. "It went on for about 15 minutes.
"People won't accept not running back and not giving effort and I said I'll find out an awful lot about you in the second half. We responded fantastically."
Burnley looked good value for the lead and bringing on O'Hara for David Bentley, who was ill, proved to be another Redknapp masterstroke.
O'Hara provided the corner for Dawson's headed equaliser, then his volley squirmed under Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen.
Pavlyuchenko kept up his record of scoring in every round of the competition, then O'Hara was in the action again when his free-kick was headed in by Duff.
