Bent was whisked off Spurs' Beijing-bound plane on Monday night to travel north and discuss a move to Sunderland. However Hull and Aston Villa have since joined the chase for the striker and Redknapp revealed he has heard nothing further.
"I have no idea," he said. "I haven't spoke to the chairman for two days so I don't know where we are with that deal with Sunderland."
He added: "When we came away it was very close but I have not heard any more.
"I'll speak with the chairman and see if anything is happening but if not then we have a terrific strike force for next season."
Jermain Defoe struck the only goal of the game as Tottenham beat West Ham 1-0 on Wednesday to set-up an encounter with either Hull or Beijing Guoan in the Barclays Asia Trohpy final at Beijing's Workers Stadium on Friday.
And Redknapp was delighted with the performance of his side.
"It was a terrific workout," he added. "We passed the ball great and had lots of chances. Overall we kept the ball great and I'm pleased with the way we played."
