Revie to make Bates approach

Revie, son of Leeds and England manager Don Revie, revealed last week he is interested in heading a consortium to take over the Elland Road outfit.
He told the Mail on Sunday: "It is time to sit down with Ken Bates to push this thing further and see what he wants. I intend to ring him on Monday and arrange a meeting to find out what the story is."
He added: "I know Ken and I quite like him. It's always best to deal with him face to face and be up front about it.
"I've been staggered by the reaction of Leeds fans to my interest in taking the club back where we belong. I've always said they are the most passionate in the country and they've proved me right."
Bates took Leeds into administration before their final Coca-Cola Championship game of the season.
The administrators KMPG immediately agreed to sell the club back to a new company - Leeds United Football Club Limited - headed by Bates, but the deal has to be approved by creditors at a meeting on June 1 and by the Football League.
Bates' move has sparked rival interest in running the club from Revie and Leeds entrepreneur and former club director Simon Morris.
Revie, who runs the football conventions and forums company Soccerex, has been discussing finance with a number of backers, including the wealthy Maktoum family who rule Dubai.
