Steve Bell gave the French side an early lead but Ryan Hall responded for Leeds and Jamie Jones-Buchanan side-stepped past Clint Greenshields for a second try.
An inch-perfect kick to the corner handed Hall his second, and the game was as good as over when the winger unselfishly passed to Brent Webb.
Leon Pryce's hat-trick steered St Helens to a 42-18 victory as Wakefield mourned the tragic death of Leon Walker.
Wakefield struck first through Steve Snitch, but Saints ran in four first-half tries from James Graham, Gary Wheeler, Matt Gidley and Pryce.
Pryce added a fifth shortly after the hour mark and Tony Puletua and Ade Gardner also touched down before Pryce completed his hat-trick late on.
Meanwhile, Michael Lawrence and Kevin Brown helped Huddersfield win a scrappy and bad-tempered encounter 22-8.
The Giants, who had Luke Robinson and Darrell Griffin sin-binned, led 10-4 at the break thanks to Scott Moore's try and three Brett Hodgson goals.
Amos Roberts gave the Warriors - who had Harrison Hansen sin-binned - hope, but the two late tries from Lawrence and Brown settled the clash.
