Rhinos wait on Sinfield

The defending champions put one hand on the League Leaders' Shield thanks to an 18-10 win over their arch rivals which puts them two points clear with one game left of the regular season. It means the Rhinos only have to avoid a heavy defeat at lowly Salford next Friday to finally end Saints' hopes of finishing top of the table for a fifth successive season.
But their victory was overshadowed by the potential loss of Sinfield for the run-in after he sustained a suspected fractured cheekbone in a clash of heads with England team-mate Maurie Fa'asavalu, the St Helens front row forward.
That happened just 20 minutes into the match but Sinfield stayed on to the end, superbly marshalling his troops and kicking the clinching penalty four minutes from time.
"Kev wanted to finish the game and I thought some of his kicking for field position was outstanding," said Leeds coach Brian McClennan.
"We will know more about the injury once we get it scanned. If it is a fractured cheekbone, he will have to have an operation."
Leeds were indebted to another masterful display from their pack while England winger Ryan Hall once more provided the finishing, touching down in each half to take his Super League try tally this season to 28, 11 ahead of his nearest rival.
Saints had opened the scoring with a try from Lee Gilmour and a second from Chris Flannery early in the second half kept the contest in doubt up to Sinfield's crucial kick.
"We ended up with the spoils but haven't won anything yet," cautioned McClennan. "We've got to go Salford next week and finish the job."
