Robben claimed he was in the final stages of securing a new five-year deal with the club despite interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Hans Robben, the winger's father and agent, told Sky Sports News: "At this moment, we are in negotiations with Chelsea and we are trying to make a new deal. And, if it doesn't happen, he still has a two-year contract left, so there's no rush and there's no problem."
He added: "You never know in football, but there's a big possibility that he plays for Chelsea next season.
"What I do with negotiations is always just stick to one party. At this moment, it's Chelsea.
"If we don't have a deal, there may be another club, but while he still has two years' contract left I don't see any reason why we should talk to any other club."
Meanwhile, AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi claims Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko wants to return to the San Siro.
The Ukraine forward has been linked with a return to Milan over the last six months following a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge.
Milan are keen to sign a striker with Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o and Arsenal's Thierry Henry reported to be targets for the European champions. However, Berlusconi appears to have his heart set on Shevchenko.
"I like Eto'o, he is young, but I am a romantic and I prefer Shevchenko," said Berlusconi in Gazzetta dello Sport.
