Robins complete shock double

Hull KR scored three times in the first 13 minutes of the second half on their way to completing the double against engage Super League leaders St Helens.

Jake Webster grabbed the first and Daniel Fitzhenry pounced for two tries in quick succession to leave St Helens stunned.

Kris Welham opened the scoring for the hosts before the second half onslaught started with Peter Fox completing the scoring late on.

Saints had taken the lead through James Graham midway through the first half but could only manage another score in the dying moments of the game when Ade Gardner went over for a late consolation.

Wakefield grabbed two more precious points in their bid to cement an engage Super League play-off place with a 46-12 win at the Hearwell Stadium.

Both the Wildcats and Celtic Crusaders went into Sunday's clash following a rest due to last week's Carnegie Challenge Cup semi-finals, but it was the home side who looked the fresher.

Luke George (2), Sean Gleeson, Danny Brough, James Stosic, Tevita Leo-Latu (2) and Jason Demetriou all crossed for the Wildcats with Brough - who was sent off late in the game - managing to convert seven of his side's eight scores for a convincing win.

Chris Nero scored twice as Bradford brought Challenge Cup finalists Huddersfield down to earth in the Engage Super League with a 28-18 win.

Nero's double against his former club came as the Bulls took charge of a tight contest at the Galpharm Stadium with a four-try burst in the first half.

Huddersfield, who celebrated reaching Wembley with a superb Cup semi-final win over St Helens last week, fought back through Scott Moore and Danny Kirmond late on but the Bulls held firm. Michael Platt and Paul Sykes also touched down for the visitors while Paul Deacon kicked six goals.
