Rose: I didn't wilt

One behind Zach Johnson with two to play, Rose double-bogeyed the 17th to finish only joint fifth and so extended Europe's barren spell in the majors to 30.
"I haven't driven the ball well on that hole all week," said the 26-year-old. "I really surprised myself with how calm I felt and how in control of my emotions I felt."
He continued: "I just believed all day that I was going to do something special and I fancied myself down the stretch, but the 17th cost me this week." He parred it in the first and third rounds, but bogeyed it on Friday.
"I really learned a lot about myself and I really feel I have what it takes to go on and win majors from here."
