Rovers appeal walker ban

Hull KR are to appeal against the Rugby Football League's decision to suspend centre Chev Walker for Friday night's engage Super League game against Leeds.

The former Leeds player was handed a one-match ban by the disciplinary committee after being found guilty of striking Bradford forward Glenn Morrison during Sunday's 13-13 draw at Odsal.

Rovers are seeking to have the charge reduced from a grade C to a grade B offence but the RFL's appeals panel also have the power to increase the punishment when the hearing is held later today.
