Rusedski calls it a day

Greg Rusedski has announced his retirement following Great Britain's Davis Cup win over Holland.

Rusedski partnered Jamie Murray to victory in the decisive doubles rubber in Birmingham.

"It was a proud moment as it's going to be my last match," said the 1997 US Open finalist. "I'm officially retiring on a win."

He added: "I would like to thank all the fans for supporting me for 13 years. I'd like to thank Jamie for carrying me through the doubles."
