The Wasps winger limped out of England's 14-13 defeat to Ireland after apparently injuring his ankle early in the second half at Croke Park.
But x-rays have confirmed Sackey has not suffered any bone damage and that the injury is in his left calf muscle.
Sackey and fly-half Toby Flood, who suffered a minor dead leg, will continue to receive treatment while the squad are given two days off.
It is understood both players should be available to face France at Twickenham in England's next RBS 6 Nations clash on March 15.
After defeats to Wales and Ireland, England must beat Les Bleus if they are to finish in the top half of the championship table.
The starting XV from Saturday's Dublin defeat will reconvene for three days' training in Yorkshire on Wednesday.
The change of training base was pre-planned and designed to freshen things up with two rounds of the RBS 6 Nations remaining.
The other 17 members of the elite squad have been released to play for their clubs this weekend.
