Sanchez keen on Gravesen

Fulham manager Lawrie Sanchez has confirmed he is interested in signing Celtic midfielder Thomas Gravesen.

The former Northern Ireland boss approached Celtic to enquire whether Gravesen was available and could follow up his interest before the transfer deadline next Friday.

Sanchez told BBC Sport: "I have been in contact with Celtic but that's really as far as it goes. Gravesen is a player I admire but no bid has been made."

He added: "I simply asked Celtic about his availability and why he's not been in their plans lately."
