Saracens set for semi-final debut

Saracens booked their first Heineken Cup semi-final place via a deserved 19-10 victory over a disappointing Ospreys at Vicarage Road.

A try from replacement Francisco Leonelli and some top-drawer kicking from Glen Jackson saw off the Welsh regional side, who had been regarded as strong pre-match favourites.

Alan Gaffney's side will now face 2006 winners Munster at Coventry's Ricoh Arena having also avenged last month's 30-3 EDF Energy Cup mauling by Ospreys.

Toulouse will face London Irish in the other semi after a convincing 41-17 victory over Cardiff Blues.

The French giants scored four tries while fly-half Jean-Baptiste Elissalde kicked 18 points to keep the French flag flying in the last four of Europe.

Jason Spice and Ben Blair both crossed for the Blues but they did not have the fire power to maintain their hopes of reaching the final in Cardiff next month.
