Scolari makes case for defence

Scolari's side have yet to concede in the Champions League this season but they have become renowned for a new attacking style in the Barclays Premier League.
They take on Roma in the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday knowing victory will guarantee them a place in the knockout stages and Scolari said: "I think it is very important for our team that they have confidence in our defence."
He added: "We know that we have very good players in midfield and in attack. I think, in the 14 or 15 games, we've only failed to score in one or two.
"We know that if we don't score goals, we'll have a chance of at least a draw.
"In this Champions League, we've won two games and drawn one 0-0 and, I think, when I have a very good defence, I have a very good attack."
Meanwhile Scolari insists his side still has much to prove despite their good start to the season at home and in Europe.
Scolari's side sit at the top of both the Premier League and Group A in the Champions League but the Brazilian claims they have achieved nothing compared to former boss Avram Grant.
Grant, who took over from axed Jose Mourinho in September last year, made way for Scolari in the summer after guiding Chelsea to the finals of the Carling Cup and Champions League and chasing Manchester United all the way in the league.
"We need to arrive in more finals and win more finals to say we are better, but not now," admitted Scolari. "We have played very well but we need to arrive in more finals."
