Sevilla quiet on Ramos spurs link

Ramos, who was heavily linked with a switch to White Hart Lane this summer, is reportedly the front-runner to replace Martin Jol at Spurs following the Dutchman's sacking on Thursday.
"There have been no changes. Juande Ramos is still manager of Sevilla football club," a club spokesman said on Friday evening.
He added: "There are no announcements planned, but should anything change it will be announced on our website, which is updated 24 hours a day."
Ramos emerged as a candidate to take over as manager of Spurs back in August, when he claimed to have received a "dizzying" offer from the Premier League club.
The former Rayo Vallecano and Real Betis coach insisted at the time, though, there was no chance he would be leaving Sevilla for north London then.
Ramos also said he was going to see out the remainder of his contract with Sevilla, which runs out in June 2008.
"Regarding this person that came on behalf of Spurs, he showed me an offer which was very interesting and dizzying, but I have a contract with Sevilla and I am to complete my contract," Ramos said in August.
"I was not interested in the offer because I am in a very interesting project with Sevilla.
"I haven't spoken to the club (Sevilla) because there was no possibility of me accepting it."
