Shah gives England breakthrough

Chasing England's impressive score of 340 for six, their third highest one-day international total, New Zealand were on course to eclipse that total with Brendon McCullum and Jamie How sharing a 91-run partnership.
But in desperation to break their stand, captain Paul Collingwood turned to Shah's off-spin and he responded by having the dangerous McCullum stumped off his third legitimate ball as New Zealand reached 192 for two after 30 overs of their reply.
McCullum had shrugged off a painful blow to his left hand by Jimmy Anderson early in his innings to hit 58 off 65 balls, including six fours and a six, when he over-balanced long enough facing Shah to allow wicketkeeper Phil Mustard to whip off the bails.
Openers Jessie Ryder and McCullum had earlier forged forged a 70-run stand in the opening 10 overs before Anderson claimed a superb catch in the deep to claim the opening breakthrough.
Ryder, brought up locally, had progressed to an impressive 39 off 32 balls including three fours and two sixes when he attempted to drive Stuart Broad down the ground and instead mis-cued to deep extra cover and allowed Anderson to run around and claim the catch.
Anderson had earlier been hammered for 44 runs in his first four overs, although he did hamper wicketkeeper McCullum by hitting his right hand for which he needed treatment.
