Sharp in defiant mood despite defeat
25 January 2008
The Black and Whites lie second from bottom in the table but Sharp is refusing to buckle under mounting pressure from the club's fans.
"I'm concerned because we're not winning, but I'm not too concerned because when we get some time on the park we'll be a very good side," said Sharp. "Let's see what we're like at the end of the year before people start jumping up and down."
Meanwhile, Leeds coach Brian McClennan believes his side can get even better after another masterclass saw them confirm their standing as the team to beat this season.
"I think we could be in better form," insisted McClennan. "I don't think we're playing our best football - we can improve as can all teams.
"We have a huge challenge coming up against St Helens on Friday. That's a big match for us."
