Sherwood considering Spurs post

Redknapp, who began his reign as manager with a 2-0 win over Bolton on Sunday, confirmed he was interested in adding Sherwood to his backroom staff after chairman Daniel Levy also took the decision to sack the majority of Juande Ramos' coaching staff.
"It has been very flattering to be linked with the club," Sherwood told BBC Radio Five Live. "If I had ever wanted to get back into football the club I would choose would be Tottenham and the manager I would work for would be Harry Redknapp."
He added: "I spoke to Harry and will do again on Tuesday. I have to make my mind up whether or not it is the right time to get back into football."
"It's a great opportunity and I bet there's a queue a mile long to take the job.
"I've talked to my father and he told me I had nothing to think about.
"What it boils down to is if I want to get back into football again and dedicate 100% of my time to the game and I have to make that decision because a club like Tottenham and a manager like Harry Redknapp demands that and you wouldn't expect it any other way."
Sherwood, 39, made 93 appearances in a four-year spell between 1999 and 2003 at White Hart Lane.
