Sinfield cleared to play

Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield was on Tuesday night cleared to play in the Super League champions' match at Huddersfield on Sunday.

The Rhinos loose forward, who has scored in each of his side's last 42 matches, was found guilty of a careless tackle during Leeds' 20-12 win over Hull KR at Headingley on Saturday.

But the offence was graded only category A and he has been told by a RFL disciplinary tribunal he will face no further action.

Hull KR full-back Ben Cockayne was found guilty of the same offence from the same match and also escaped any punishment.
