Winger Lee Smith was placed on report for allegedly kicking Wigan second-rower Phil Bailey in the face during last Friday's 18-14 play-off victory over the Warriors and has been charged with a grade C offence.
The 22-year-old Smith, who scored two tries in the final eliminator, will face a suspension of up to four matches if he is found guilty at Tuesday's disciplinary hearing.
Hooker Matt Diskin, who was placed on report for an alleged high tackle, will not face any disciplinary action.
"We've got faith in the judiciary system," coach Brian McClennan told a press conference at Old Trafford.
"We'll see how it goes but I'm fairly confident we'll be okay. You've always got contingency plans but we're not going to go too far down that road."
Meanwhile, St Helens are set to welcome back New Zealand prop Jason Cayless, now recovered from a knee injury that forced him to miss the last three matches including the Challenge Cup final.
"He trained today (Monday) and will be in contention," said coach Daniel Anderson. "Everybody else is fit to go."
