Poyet told the Daily Star : "Kameni and Jarque are very interesting players - and any player who is interesting is welcome at a club such as Tottenham."

He added: "Both of them are on our director of football's wanted list and the club is following them with a view to strengthening our team.

"We haven't yet taken a definite decision to bring them in, but we will try to do a deal in the future."
