Super Aguri call it a day

Crisis-torn Super Aguri have pulled out of the 2008 Formula One World Championship.

After hovering on the brink of collapse for a number of weeks, the team owned by former F1 driver Aguri Suzuki have been forced out of business due to financial difficulties.

In a statement, Suzuki said: "Regretfully, I must inform you that the team will be ceasing its racing activities."

An "exhausted" Suzuki is now unlikely to return to F1 in the near future, if at all, adding: "I definitely need a break.

"It's a piranha club and I kind of feel that I don't want to stick my fingers back in."

Ten teams and 20 drivers will now line up on the grid for Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix in Istanbul.
