Taylor stars for Black Caps

Ross Taylor scored his first one-day international century on foreign soil as New Zealand's top order finally found form to clinch their series against Bangladesh with a 79-run win in Chittagong.

After early wickets had threatened to again derail the Black Caps' batting, Taylor (103) and Jamie How (73) shared a 125-run partnership for the third wicket as the tourists posted 249 for seven.

In reply, a youthful Bangladesh line-up were quickly reduced to 59 for five to effectively end their hopes of securing a first series win against a Test-playing nation. They eventually reached 170 for eight.

Jacob Oram finished with figures of two for 16 from eight overs as New Zealand clinched the series 2-1.
