Teale calls for adventure

George Burley's side suffered a comprehensive and expected 3-0 defeat in the Amsterdam ArenA on Saturday to leave them in third place in Group Nine with four points from four games.
Consequently, Scotland's best chance of reaching South Africa is now effectively restricted to a play-off place as one of the best eight runners-up from the nine sections and, with that in mind, Derby midfielder Teale said: "We need to try and play the way Holland played against us."
He added: "We need to try and force the issue, make sure we are on the front foot and obviously make chances.
"At the end of the day, it is a vital three points that we have to take."
Teale admits he might have been at fault for an infringement in the Dutch penalty area when Gary Caldwell had a 'goal' controversially chalked off by referee Laurent Duhamel when it was 2-0 to the home side.
"I don't know if he gave it against me but I was standing in front of their goalkeeper with Dirk Kuyt," he said. "Neither of us were fouling each other but the goalkeeper couldn't come cleanly to collect the ball.
"I would need to see it again but I don't think there was too much in it.
"If we had scored, it would have made it more interesting.
"We had our best spell then and were trying to knock the ball around and it certainly would have given us a lift. But it wasn't to be on the night."
