Terry urges support for Lampard

Lampard was targeted by a section of fans before and during the June friendly against Brazil at the new Wembley and could confront them again in Wednesday night's friendly international with Germany at the same venue.
Terry said: "I was really surprised at what happened with Frank. It has happened once before. I don't condone it and I certainly don't want the fans to do it again. Unfortunately Frank was targeted - but he has been brilliant for England and Chelsea, and I would ask the fans to get behind every single one of us."
He added: "Frank has been fantastic for England over the last three or four years - not only his goal record, but also his overall performances.
"When things weren't going well for us it was easy for a section of the crowd to target certain players.
"He is a world-class player and he has done it for England for many years now."
Terry also hopes Lampard will follow him and resolve his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.
He said: "Frank has come out and said it's not all about money. It is probably his last contract, and he has to get it right for himself and his family. He has got two kids now.
"It is not only the financial side of things that is keeping Frank from signing. I am sure if you talk to him he will tell you the ins and outs - but it is important he does get it right.
"I'd love him to stay at Chelsea and sign his contract, but he has to get it right for himself and his family."
