Toyota delay Ralf decision

Toyota team principal John Howett has offered Ralf Schumacher no guarantees of a drive with the team next year.

Schumacher's future with the Japanese manufacturer is up in the air as he is out of contract at the end of the season, with discussions regarding a new deal ongoing.

"We're in discussion with Ralf, we're studying the driver market and Ralf is still definitely on our list," said Howett. "He's doing a very good job at the moment, as we've seen in the last two or three races, but we're just not prepared at this moment to make a decision, which is very tough."

He added: "I have a great deal of personal sympathy with Ralf but that's the position. We're waiting to see what moves and I can assure you that Ralf is on our list, but we feel we can wait longer."
