Tuffey: I could have played on

An arm injury caused Tuffey to be replace by Chris Martin after bowling just six overs in his sole World Cup appearance against Canada.
"I could have probably played on, but who knows?" He told the Sunday News. "I might have done some more damage to it and could have been out for a few months. That would have been even more disappointing. I had to come home to make sure it was right."
However, the Northern Districts seamer had no fears the injury would be as serious as his previous shoulder problems which led to two years out of the international arena.
"It is just a case of rest now," Tuffey said. "There is no need to have surgery. So that is pretty good. They just said it is going to be two or three weeks.
"There is a slight tear in the right bicep. It is actually in a better place than before."
Tuffey may be added to 15-man New Zealand A squad to tour Australia in July named this week.
