United to file report on fracas

United defender Patrice Evra is believed to have been at the centre of the row which followed his side's 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge, and the 27-year-old was expected to give his account of the incident to officials of the Old Trafford club on Monday.
Ferguson said: "We are filing a report which will be sent to the FA. We are very happy with that, we are delighted with that. We hope the FA investigate it."
The unsavoury fracas involved six of United's players, Chelsea groundstaff and several match day stewards. The FA have already confirmed they want to see CCTV footage of the incident.
It is also believed that Chelsea and Manchester United chief executives Peter Kenyon and David Gill have discussed the incident, which was sparked when the players were asked by groundstaff during their warm-down session to run in the same direction as lawnmowers being used to trim the playing surface.
Evra, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, John O'Shea, Park Ji-Sung and Gerard Pique were asked to run up and down the pitch instead of across it but tempers flared and a scuffle broke out.
In a separate post-match incident England centre-half Rio Ferdinand apologised to a female steward after catching her while kicking out at a wall in frustration.
